What Is Market Insights?
Market Insights is a new credit based feature inside DoorVault that gives you access to institutional grade property intelligence. From the Market Insights tab on any property page, you can pull:
Property Valuations with estimated market value, a confidence score, and a price range based on comparable sales in your area.
Rent Estimates showing what your property should be renting for, with a range and the comparable rentals used to calculate it.
Comparable Sales listing recent nearby sales with price, date, distance, and property details so you can see exactly what the market is doing around your property.
Comparable Rentals showing active rental listings near you with pricing and property details, perfect for benchmarking your current rent.
Market Statistics at the zip code level, including median prices, days on market, inventory levels, and year over year trends.
Active Listings for both sales and rentals in your area, so you can track competition and opportunity in real time.
How the Credit System Works
Market Insights runs on a simple credit model. Each feature pull costs 1 credit. Property Records (basic property details like beds, baths, square footage, and tax history) remain completely free.
Credits are available in three packs:
5 credits for .99 (great for trying it out), 15 credits for 2.99 (covers a handful of properties across multiple features), and 50 credits for 4.99 (for serious investors running comps across their portfolio).
There is no subscription required. Buy credits when you need them, use them at your own pace.
Pull Once, Keep Forever
Here is what makes Market Insights different from other data services: your data never expires.
When you pull a valuation, rent estimate, or market report, that data is cached permanently in your DoorVault account. Every data card shows a clear “Last updated” timestamp so you always know how current your numbers are.
Want fresh data? Hit the Refresh button and spend 1 credit to pull updated numbers. The old data is replaced with the new pull, and your timestamp updates.
This means you are never locked out of data you already paid for. Whether you check back in a week or six months, your last Market Insights pull is still right there waiting for you.
Where to Find It
Market Insights lives as a dedicated tab on every property detail page, right alongside your documents, financials, and property details. You will also see your credit balance in the sidebar under Knox Activity, so you always know where you stand.
When you open the Market Insights tab, each feature is displayed as a card. If you have not pulled data yet, you will see a description of what you will get and a button to pull it. Once data is loaded, the full results are displayed with the option to refresh anytime.
If you run out of credits, your existing data stays visible. You can purchase more credits with one click and continue pulling new insights immediately.
Knox Knows Your Market Data
Knox, your AI portfolio analyst, is fully integrated with Market Insights. When you ask Knox questions about a property’s value, rental potential, or market conditions, Knox will reference your cached Market Insights data in its analysis.
If you have not pulled data for a property yet, Knox will let you know that Market Insights is available and suggest pulling it for a more informed answer. Knox will never spend credits on your behalf without asking first.
Getting Started
Market Insights is live now for all DoorVault users. Navigate to any property in your portfolio, click the Market Insights tab, and start pulling data. Your first 5 credit pack is all you need to see valuations, rent estimates, and market trends for one property.
No commitments, no recurring fees, no expiring data. Just property intelligence on your terms.
